American company DCI is joining the likes of Amazon and Microsoft in building not one, but two big new datacenters in Auckland. The two investments are expected to bring over $600 million to the Auckland region.

Looks like New Zealand businesses might soon be spoiled for choice when it comes to hosting data, depending on whether or not the centers are already fully tennanted by the time construction is complete. Probably also quite a good time to be a datacenter worker, one would imagine.
